Metal Death

One of the very first songs: it was played at the first gig, Lusserock 1992 (the video is on the Extras page), and recorded properly in 2000.

Buying a hammer, going to give it away,
a hammer is a good gift to give away.
Wayne wants my hammer, I don't like him,
I don't want to give my hammer to Wayne.
He's gonna use it on my friends,
he's the mad hammer man, he's insane.
It's hard to say why Wayne acts this way.

When he's normal, we try to talk to him,
but he only becomes sad and ashamed.
And I don't wanna give my hammer to Wayne,
he will only use it in his metal game.

Metal death!

When I came home today, the hammer was gone,
and there's only one single person who knows.
Right now he's probably running the streets,
looking for some lonely victims to kill.
He's sick again, probably killing right now,
he's sick again, probably killing right now.

When he's normal, we try to talk to him,
but he only becomes sad and ashamed.
And I don't wanna give my hammer to Wayne,
he will only use it in his metal game.

Metal death!
