A Short History

Never famous, never signed: just friends in Gothenburg who loved writing songs and playing together through the 1990s.

  1. 1992

It started as “Noise in the Basement”, jamming in Johanneberg. The first gig was Lusserock at Burås Fritidsgård on 12 December. Watch: Alive, Lugn, Beautiful Morning, Metal Death.

  2. 1993–1995

Steve Engdahl came in on drums together with Axel on guitar. Axel left early, while Steve stayed for some time before Andreas “Ollebull” Olsson took over the drums.

The lineup settled as Nicholas “Nikki” Singleton (vocals), Andrés Lagunas (bass), Andreas “Ollebull” Olsson (drums) and Supriya Mitra (guitars). Gigs around Gothenburg, and the first demos in 1993 and 1994, recorded at Spökstudion upstairs at Buråsskolans fritidsgård (hear them on the Studio page).

  3. 1997

With Nikki away in Brighton, Agnes Faxén sang with us a couple of times.

  4. 16 April 1999

Live at Bimman’s party at Majgården, Chapmans Torg.

  5. 2000

The songs were recorded properly at Daniel Veres Studio in Krokslätt, Mölndal: Demo Part #1 and Demo Part #2. More songs from the same sessions are on the Extras page.

  6. 29 May 2001

This website went online and the Frontnet Audio Group released the demos as MP3s.
